About me: Hello and thank you for visiting my website! My name is Jane Alexander, and I live in Poole, Dorset UK. I am motivated by music & different dance genres. After 35 years of enjoying Musical Theatre at various levels I was looking to find inspiration again & discovered group fitness classes. Never did I think I could have a second career in dance & fitness well into my 60s! I hold worldwide recognised professional fitness qualifications; I am a fully qualified UK Level 3 Pilates Teacher, UK Level 2 Exercise to Music Professional, UK Level 2 Aqua Fitness Professional & UK certified Parkinsons Dance Practitioner.
I have had my own personal journey through injury and seen first-hand experience of the huge power that comes from moving our bodies in a safe and supportive environment.
My aim is to help you feel empowered & make movement accessible to everybody - regardless of your age, physical abilities, injuries, illnesses or mobility restrictions.
Dance Fitness Classes: I am a fully qualified UK Level 2 Exercise to Music Professional. Class times are usually between 45 to 60 minutes & are perfect for all adult ages, all abilities. I teach Zumba Gold® (low impact dance fitness) & Zumba® (high impact dance fitness) . My classes are fun & effective; Every class feels like a party! Come join me, I guarantee you will have a blast! Pilates: I am a fully qualified UK Level 3 Pilates Teacher, offering modifications & classes suitable for all adult ages, all abilities Class times usually 60 mins. ONLINE Classes ! I am delighted to offer you pre recorded 'on demand' classes from my studio. Contact me for monthly online fitness timetable/details - effective, fun & best of all you still get me! Classes include Zumba® (Fitness) Zumba Gold® (Low impact dance fitness) , Stretch'n'Tone, Body Conditioning (using equipment we have at home) Sit2Fit (inc seated Stretch'n'Flow) , Trim'n'Tone, Get Up & Dance (low impact dance fitness) & Pilates express. FYI: I hold worldwide recognised professional fitness qualifications. I am fully insured, DBS checked (previously known as CRB) & first aid certified. I am a Fitness Presenter & present Masterclasses at fitness venues in the UK. I am also a UK Instructor Mentor for Zumba® . I have been recognised in the fitness industry nationally for my work with clients who have various neurological conditions.
